Your organization profile and locations are what survivors, churches, and partner organizations see when they're deciding who to contact or where to send help. Keeping this accurate and current means the right people can actually reach you — at every location you operate from, not just your main one.
Updating your organization profile
- Go to My Organization.
- Update any of the following sections:
- Basic Information — your organization's core details
- Public Contact Information — how the public and partners can reach you
- Social Media Accounts
- Organization Category
- Disaster Relief Services & Capabilities — what your organization does
- Faith-Based Status
- Click Save at the top or bottom of the page when you're done.
Managing your organization's locations
Still on the My Organization page, find the Locations section:
- Use the location manager to add a new location, or select an existing one to edit.
- For each location you can set a name (e.g., "Downtown Campus"), physical address, city/state/zip, a local contact person's name/email/phone for that specific location, which services are offered there (if different from your organization overall), and whether it's your primary location.
- Save your changes.
Once your profile is set up, you're ready to let people know what you're actually doing — see How to Submit a Disaster Response.
