How to Download a Ready-to-Share Social Media Graphic of Our Organization's Disaster Response

Last updated: September 12, 2026

Once your response is submitted, this turns it into something you can actually post — a professional, branded graphic your team can share on social media in seconds, without needing a designer every time you want to spread the word about your work.

  1. Go to Social Media. You'll need to be logged in, and your organization needs to be approved (admins can access this for any organization).
  2. Your organization is selected automatically if you belong to one; otherwise choose it from the list.
  3. Select the disaster and the specific response you want to create a graphic for — see How to Submit a Disaster Response if you haven't submitted one yet.
  4. Choose an image format — Portrait 4:5 (1080×1350) for an Instagram Portrait post, or Story 9:16 (1080×1920) for an Instagram/Facebook Story.
  5. Preview the generated card, which uses your organization's style guide — colors, tagline, and details pulled from your response.
  6. Click Download to save the image, ready to post.

The page also gives you suggested caption text and share buttons for posting directly, alongside the downloadable graphic.
