This lets you share a link that shows only the responses that matter to a specific audience, instead of sending someone to a big, unfiltered map and asking them to find what you meant on their own. An organization like Mercy Chefs, or a local church network, can share a link that shows only their own response locations — ideal for posting on Facebook, texting to volunteers, or embedding in an email newsletter.
- Go to a disaster's page, or the Rebuild page.
- Click Advanced Filters & Search to open the filter panel — see How to Use the Interactive Disaster Response Map for what's available.
- Apply any combination of filters: organization, service type, organization type, and location.
- Click Copy Filtered Link. The button briefly confirms "Link Copied!"
- Paste the link anywhere — a social post, a text message, an email newsletter. Opening it recreates that exact filtered view for whoever clicks it.
If a shared link stops matching anything — for example, an organization's response has since ended — the page automatically clears the filters and shows all responses instead, along with a message letting the visitor know: "Filters displayed zero active responses, you are now viewing all responses." That way an old link never just shows a blank map.
