Texans on Mission Disaster Relief teams have deployed to Louisiana after Tropical Storm Arthur left behind widespread damage and impacted hundreds of homes. This is a developing situation as much of the area is still flooded. Many roads are closed and many homes cannot be reached for assessment due to flooding. A shower/laundry and electrical unit deployed this morning to help with initial recovery work. Texans on Mission flood recovery, feeding, chaplains, asset protection and an incident management team are on standby to serve in the area. They will deploy at a later date as waters continue to recede and the needs of the communities affected become known.
