Foursquare Church in Menasha is coordinating a localized response in the Menasha and Appleton. The local team is connecting with the congregation, coordinating with nearby churches, and reaching out to city leadership and volunteer coordination at the EOC. The church has space to potentially host people or cleanup teams and has great access to community partnerships. Foursquare Disaster Relief is coordinating with the church efforts and identifying additional resources as information becomes available.
Volunteers will assist homeowners affected by recent tornadoes and will help in Jesus' Name with debris cleanup, chainsaw work and some roof tarping. There will be opportunities for overnight and day volunteers. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.
Convoy of Hope is immediately reaching impacted communities with food and water, personal hygiene items, and cleanup supplies, including tarps and rakes. When an extreme disaster strikes, basic necessities can bring normalcy and comfort to survivors.
