Eight Days of Hope serves as the hands and feet of Christ – providing light in the face of darkness, restoration in the face of destruction. We are a national organization that responds to disasters across the country, helping to rebuild homes, communities, and lives.

This fall, we’ll have the privilege of serving Parkgate Pregnancy Clinic in Tupelo, Mississippi, as they expand their ministry to provide hope, support, and care for women and men navigating unplanned pregnancies and so much more. We are looking for 30 volunteers who can help with framing, carpentry work, and more. We would love for you to be part of this incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact. Sign up below! We are humbled to provide meals to those in Lake County as they wait for the power to be restored. Beginning Saturday, August 15, our team will begin serving free, hot meals to the community! Our Rapid Response - Heavy arm will also be responding to serve Lake County, IN, as homes across the area sustained tree and wind damage. Starting cleanup efforts on Saturday, August 15, our heavy equipment operators will clear dangerous debris, remove trees that have been damaged, tarp roofs, pray with families, and more! If you know anyone in this area in need, please share this post so they can receive free meals and words of encouragement as they walk through the coming weeks. Currently, we are not accepting volunteers for these outreaches. As we continue to assess and determine the need, we could potentially open volunteering. Our Rapid Response team is humbled to respond to families in need in Avoyelles Parish, LA, from June 27 – July 11 following the recent devastating floods from Tropical Storm Arthur. We will be gutting homes with flood damage, sorting belongings, clearing debris from yards, and more. Eight Days of Hope is deploying our Rapid Response team to serve the Merrillville, IN, community after a heartbreaking EF-2 tornado left so many families in need. In this deployment, we will be removing dangerous trees, cleaning up debris, tarping roofs, and more. Eight Days of Hope (EDOH) is deploying its Rapid Response Ministry to Kerrville, TX, in response to the deadly flash flooding that occurred on July 4th. There are at least 120 deaths and over 170 people still missing as a result of the rapidly rising Guadelupe River. This will be a HEAVY deployment of the Rapid Response Ministry, bringing specialized equipment and skilled operators to the area. EDOH will serve from Saturday, July 12 until Saturday, July 19.
