Beginning October 6 – 9, 2025 , the remnants of Tropical Storms Priscilla and Raymond unleashed historic rainfall across eastern and central Mexico — especially in the states of Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, Querétaro, and San Luis Potosí . Continuous rain exceeding 20 inches (530 mm) in some regions triggered widespread flash floods, river overflows, and deadly landslides .
Operation Blessing's local team in Mexico City, joined by members of our Global Disaster Response team are bring critical aid and relief to affected families. We ask for your prayers for our teams and the families affected by the storms.
Hope Force is on the ground in Mexico, bringing help to flood survivors who have lost everything. Dozens of lives were lost, entire neighborhoods destroyed, and many communities have been cut off from help. The Hope Force Mexico team is in Veracruz, Álamo, and Poza Rica, some of the hardest-hit regions. They’re distributing food, water, and hygiene supplies, cleaning out flooded homes, and offering hope and care in Jesus’ name.
