From late September to mid-October, our Eastern States have faced two major hurricanes. We’re all witnessing the devastation on the news and want to help. FCDR is actively completing major repairs and new construction homes with a new development planned for 50 homes.

Samaritan's Purse

Volunteers will assist in rebuilding and repairing homes in the Buncombe County, NC area. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Staff will instruct and guide volunteers through completion of rebuild tasks. Individuals and teams who would like to schedule a trip should submit an application. Once your dates are requested a volunteer coordinator will contact you to discuss scheduling. God's Pit Crew

Our Mobile Home Team is preparing, setting, and fully finishing 12 mobile homes (single and doublewide) in western North Carolina for families who lost their residences and in some cases their land during Helene. Beyond installation, the team is completing underpinnings, building custom decks, and furnishing each unit with décor and household essentials to deliver fully furnished, turn key housing ready for families to move in and call home.
