The massive Palisades Fire broke out in Los Angeles on January 7th, 2025, prompting mandatory evacuations affecting almost 200,000 people and highway closures. Throughout the week, many more fires broke out, including the Eaton Fire in the foothills of Pasadena on the other side of Los Angeles County. Bethel Global Response touched ground in Los Angeles on January 9. The current plan for the response is in partnership with Vintage Church in Pasadena as well as other faith-leaders in the Pasadena area.

Serve all the front-line warriors with food/drinks, supplies, gatorade, chapstick, baby wipes, protien bars, water, energy drinks and nonperishable foods.

World Vision has already shipped nine truckloads of emergency supplies — including food, water, coolers, generators, clothing, and tools — to 13 church and organizational partners in the area.
Currently collecting air purifiers for local families who are living in the area and distributing them as needed.
Assessment teams on the ground and will be sending resources and support.
Volunteer Opportunities: Each overnight volunteer session is 1 week long, with arrivals only on Sunday evening by 5:00 p.m. and departures on Saturday morning. Currently scheduling volunteers through Saturday, March 15, 2025.
