Communities across Southeast and East Texas and Southwest Louisiana could experience flooding in low-lying and urban areas, downed trees and power lines, and other storm-related impacts.</p><h3>Power Outages</h3><p>Power outages have increased significantly across <strong>Southeast Texas</strong>, with the greatest impacts currently concentrated in <strong>Jefferson and Orange counties</strong>. Tens of thousands of customers have experienced outages as Edouard moved inland, including significant outages in and around the <strong>Port Arthur–Beaumont area</strong>.
